Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
denuo. is the name under which Miguel Nogueira de Almeida, an independent professional based in Portugal, offers freelance services. Email: denuo.mktg@gmail.com. Denuo is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
This policy covers denuomarketing.com and the ways you contact Denuo from it. It does not cover the data of clients’ customers, which Denuo processes on its clients’ behalf under the data processing terms (Schedule 1) of the Terms of Service.
2. What we collect and why
| When | Data | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| You email us | Name, company, email, message | To answer you and discuss working together | Legitimate interest in responding to enquiries; pre-contract steps at your request |
| You book a call | Name, email, chosen time, any notes you add; handled by Cal.com | To hold the call | Pre-contract steps at your request |
| You become a client | Company and contact details, invoices, contract | To deliver the services and meet tax and accounting law | Contract; legal obligation (Portuguese tax rules) |
| You visit the site | Technical data your browser sends (IP address, browser, time of request), kept in the hosting provider’s server logs | To deliver the site securely | Legitimate interest in running a secure website |
| You browse the site | Visit statistics: pages viewed, clicks, scroll depth, time on page, page speed, the site or campaign you came from, device type, country, a shortened IP address, and whether a booking was completed (never your name, email or booking details) | To see which pages help visitors and which do not, and to improve the site | Legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used |
| You allow analytics or marketing cookies | A visitor id that links your visits over time; Google Analytics usage data; for marketing, the ad and remarketing tags set up in Google Tag Manager | To understand visits across days and, for marketing, to measure and show ads | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page |
Visit statistics use denuo’s own first-party tool, run on Denuo’s own server. Without your consent it stores nothing on your device and identifies a visit only by a code that changes every day, so visits cannot be linked across days; it honours Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager load only after you accept them in the cookie banner. The site has no newsletter. Denuo does not buy data about you, does not profile you for advertising, and does not use your data for automated decisions.
3. Retention and sharing
How long we keep it: Enquiries that do not become a client: 12 months, then deleted. Client contracts and invoices: 10 years, as Portuguese tax law requires. Booking records: as long as the enquiry or client relationship they belong to. Visit statistics: 13 months, then deleted. Google Analytics data: 14 months. Your cookie choice: 12 months, then you are asked again.
Who we share it with: Only the providers that run our tools, each under its own data-processing terms: Google (Gmail and Google Workspace) for email and documents, Cal.com for bookings, Google (Analytics and Tag Manager, only with your consent) for visit statistics, our web hosting provider for serving the site, Stripe for card payments when a client asks to pay by card, and our accountant for invoicing. We never sell your data. Some of these providers process data outside the EU; where they do, they rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Security: Encrypted devices, two-factor authentication on every account, access limited to Miguel Almeida.
4. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email denuo.mktg@gmail.com; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados), at cnpd.pt, or to the authority in your own EU country.
